You may have heard the name before, and if you haven’t you definitely need to get familiar. EXSSV signed with Dim Mak last year, has gained the attention of the label’s head honcho Aoki, and has released countless singles with massive success. He is back again, this time with a remix of Rain Man’s “Habit” and it is nothing short of sensational.
The track starts off with the vocals from the original track and a simple piano chord progression. A bass heavy, double timed synth comes in, followed by a kick as a swell of anticipation takes us to the drop. A clever vocal synth leads us through the lush, future bass chords. Sticking to what he knows, EXSSV has transformed this song into his own style.

EXSSV is back with another energetic remix, this time taking on Krewella’s single “Be There“. The former RTT Artist to Watch once again brings his vibrant approach to the table, implementing elements of rock, drum and bass, dubstep, and trap to create a whole new vibe for the song. This one is primed and ready to tear up the crowd at your next festival. Stream and download the track below, plus check out what EXSSV had to say about the remix below. Enjoy.
“I’ve been a fan of Krewella for a long time and took a chance. They loved the treatment as did the crowds as everyone was responding well to it. I even got to talk to Yasmine at Spaceyacht while in LA on how excited her and her sister were to play my remix @springawakefest – it means a lot to have their support.” – EXSSV

Hot off a rowdy remix for Krewella, EXSSV delivers an amazing single via Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak label. Never Say Goodbye is a hybrid-trap monster featuring duo Pixel Terror. This collaboration delivers a unique spark on this spectacular single.
This new york native has recently signed with the Dim Mak imprint, and has been working closely with them in recent months. Delivering a steady barrage of remix and singles through Steve Aoki’s monumental label. In Never Say Goodbye, he showcases the next step in his already diverse catalog.
Dreamy vocals introduce this piece, complimenting itself with soft synths and grand piano undertones. Builds up into a massive hybrid-trap drop, with clear and crisp bass sounds that instigate head bobbing instantly. Collectively coming together into a perfect composition that is perfect to ignite any atmosphere.
Rising producer EXSSV just made all of our Halloween dreams come true with his brand new single.
“Doomsday,” out now on Dim Mak, is a wicked tune with spooky vocal samples and a monstrous bass house drop. The BPM is quickly switched up halfway through the track for an unexpected and heavy-hitting dubstep drop. EXSSV is no stranger to powerful kicks, heavy 808s, and clean synth-work.
“Doomsday” proves EXSSV’s talent as much as his versatlity. He continuously blends aspects of dubstep, trap, hip-hop, and future bass into one cohesively brilliant package.
Since being named one of Run The Trap’s “Artists to Watch in 2016,” EXSSV is continuously proving himself as more than worthy of the title. He first appeared on Dim Mak with hip-hop/dubstep hybrid track, “Hangover (feat. Jetta On The Track),” which climbed to #3 on Beatport’s hip-hop charts. He also produced an official remix for Autoerotique’s “Streets” and recently dropped “Upper (feat. KARRA).”
The New York native may be new to the game, but he proves his staying power with each and every epic release. Check out “Doomsday” below and grab the free download here. You can also buy it on iTunes or stream it on Spotify.

New York-based producer EXSSV has just released his latest original through Dim Mak alongside rising vocalist KARRA, this time as a powerful and gracefully crafted hybrid creation that represents the worlds of dubstep, future bass and more. “Upper” utilizes soaring vocal sections within dense and grimy bass drops to foster a vibe unlike anything else. The result is a track worth listening to several times over, so that one can fully explore its complexity and details.
It begins with KARRA’s breathy vocals above swells and ebbs of white noise and pulsating bass synths. A smashing series of kicks soon leads into spectrum-wide blasts of lasers, before everything climbs upwards into the drop. Suddenly, the serenity of the lead-in is thrown away for an array of severe dubstep growls and screeches above a pounding percussion section. After a second round of vocals, a deadly revolution of metallic flares switches the dials back to ‘headbang mode.’
